We rebranded The Yellow of Lagos, a year after promising roll out. The truth is, our perspectives and priorities changed post-pandemic and #EndSARS protests. Amidst the woes of entrepreneurship, the brand’s service offerings, and contemplation of our a career switch to tech, we decided it was best to slowly bring our social experiments to a halt, in a bid to re-evaluate our WHY.
 
The last three years have gone by like a blur, to say the least. We want to make up for lost time and reconnect with the community that has helped shape us over the course of the past 7 years. For us to build a meaningful legacy, we have shifted our experiential focus to one that captures the stories of every Nigerian in Lagos or the Japa community. More than ever before, we believe it is important to start sharing our life experiences (anonymously, if you like) in safe spaces. Lagos is getting wetter, in time for the heat of the political showdown of 2023.
 
Between the ASUU strike and more Nigerian Youth finding ways to stay alive, we would like to open our digital platforms to young creatives to vent. We believe that community is agency and if we are able to share our stories in a way that enlighten, uplift, and empower, we would be able to stay encouraged (and perhaps entertained) in these uncertain times.
